Bermuda Bride
Dear Bride and Groom,
When it comes to trusting one of the most important days of your life to a wedding planner that you may only meet days before your wedding, you want to be sure that you have placed your trust in someone who is there for you, who understands your vision and without the stress usually involved. So who is Bermuda Bride?
Ninety-two percent of our clients are over 23, female and from the States. Young, old, widowed, divorced, often demanding but always in love and about to be married; often not for the first time. But all with a desire to escape a traditional ceremony that is often too expensive and a reception with relatives they might never see again. They feel overwhelmed, don’t have time to make the arrangements themselves but don’t know where to start but know what they want. They are looking for something fun, intimate and memorable, simple yet elegant. In most instances they are paying for the wedding themselves rather than their parents. They look to us as a sounding board, for reassurance and gentle guidance, for ideas and advice on etiquette. We capture people at one of the best times in their lives. What could be better than that?
Bermuda Bride began in April 2000 by the founder and Senior Wedding Planner, Nikki J Begg. After twenty years as a stylist, make-up artist, personal assistant and a career in Investments, Nikki decided to do what she loves best – weddings. She has an enthusiastic and professional approach, a desire to keep up with the latest trends and a quest for perfection. In 2003, she received a runner up award from the Star Group for the Leading Women Entrepreneurs of The World.
Simply sensational flowers are an integral part of a wedding. Not content with the service, options and quality available on the Island, in June 2001 Nikki started Petals to meet that gap. Marguerite Clarke is Head of Design. She and her team will simply impress you with the quality of design, flowers and service. Petals won the Best of Bermuda award for Best Flowers in 2003 and 2004.
As Bermuda Bride continues to grow, so have our clients’ requirements. The desire for luxurious linens, elegantly designed tents with white flowing sheers and fairy lights, sumptuous square tables, long wooden benches, white Chiavari chairs, mahogany dance floors, tiki torches and shepherds’ hooks spilling over with a basket of flowers led to the creation of “Elements”. We are incredibly excited at being able to offer our clients the very best quality.
A wedding does not happen by our work alone. We are incredibly fortunate to work with “the best of the best”. On behalf of the team at Bermuda Bride, and everyone we work with, we very much look forward to working on your wedding.
